Vinted seeks a highly motivated Sr. Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) to join the Engineering organisation. In this role, you will focus on initiating and driving programs to ensure that we deliver exceptional service to our customers. We're looking for a confident leader who works well across numerous cross-functional teams, can prioritise and analyse trade-offs, effectively influences across organisational boundaries, and successfully drives large-scale engineering efforts. The ability to break down and solve complex problems, propose solutions, and communicate plans to stakeholders is critical to success in this role. As a TPM in the engineering organisation, you'll have the opportunity to aim high and play a vital part in ensuring our customers continue to have the best experience and make second-hand their first choice.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, be highly data-driven, and have proven problem-solving abilities. You will understand software design and delivery well and be able to effectively represent program status. Your program/project management experience and operational excellence will influence the team’s decisions and help drive scalable long-term solutions.

The Marketplace Technologies domain is responsible for setting the technical direction across Android, iOS, Backend, Web, and QA platforms within Vinted. Our focus is on modularization, developing a robust service ecosystem, and enhancing testability and system resilience. By leading multiple complex programs, we aim to drive strategic technology changes that ensure system stability and performance, ultimately supporting Vinted's mission to make second-hand the first choice worldwide.

In this position, you’ll

• Manage the lifecycle of large and complex programs with considerable impact that support strategic goals, important business-level outcomes, and/or have significant financial implications
• Drive large-scale engineering efforts by collaborating with numerous engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to define program objectives, scope, milestones, and success criteria
• Own and be accountable for impactful organisational objectives
• Own program status communication to a wide range of audiences
• Work with and influence leadership up to the executive level
• Represent the team’s and/or program’s technology to stakeholders and other technical and non-technical teams
• Work to keep the scope of engineering efforts under control and accelerate progress by driving timely, data-driven decisions
• Improve processes and metrics required to effectively unblock delivery, accelerate innovation, and/or improve quality
• Influence technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions across multiple groups with competing priorities
• Apply program management best practices to increase the productivity and effectiveness of the teams involved

About you

• 5+ years of working in program or project management
• 3+ years of working closely with engineering teams or 2+ years of software development experience
• Inclined to aim high and take ownership
• Able to drive simplification and efficiency in existing engineering processes and architectures
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences, including leadership up to executive level
• A strong track record of executing cross-functional programs in dynamic and fast-paced environments, including building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Comfortable working on multiple programs at once
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality, along with risk and critical path management

The salary range for this position is €5,758 - €7,792 gross per month.
