Now we are looking for a skilled and motivated Team Leader to manage and guide a team of 5–8 data specialists within the Status Value Stream at OAG. This individual will play a key role in shaping and evolving our approach to flight status data, ensuring high-quality delivery in a dynamic, transitioning environment.

Team Mission

Be the trusted data platform partner of airlines with high quality, essential status data.
Maintain and improve the coverage and quality of OAG’s Flight Status data, enabling clients to access accurate and valuable data effortlessly.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data specialists.
  • Align the team with company and value stream OKRs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and encourage professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize onboarding of new and replacement status feeds (direct and third-party).
  • Oversee tracking, monitoring, and quality improvement of all status feeds.
  • Manage supplier relationships to strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, data extraction, customer engagement, and commercial teams.
  • Maintain transparency with stakeholders around progress and priorities.
  • Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms for tracking data performance.
  • Support the development of dashboards and business metric reports.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., AIDX, MVT, ASM), privacy, and security.
  • Implement best practices in data governance and quality
