Are you ready to define the product compliance strategy for cutting-edge web scraping and big data solutions? At Oxylabs, we’re looking for a Senior Legal Counsel. This role goes beyond ticking boxes—it’s about deeply understanding the legal landscape, identifying potentially applicable laws even when they’re not straightforward, and turning compliance into a competitive advantage. You’ll play a key role in guiding the company through legal landscapes while working closely with cross-functional teams to influence product development from its earliest stages, providing strategic advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, developing internal policies to support business objectives, and collaborating with world’s leading global law firms.
Your day-to-day:
Shape the compliance strategy to balance regulatory requirements, case law developments in web scraping, big data, and AI, with business innovation. Continuously enhance the company’s legal and compliance processes and documentation.Collaborate with business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle of new and existing Oxylabs products and features, assessing risks and proposing solutions.Draft, review, negotiate, and provide support with ongoing commercial contracts.Advise marketing and PR teams to ensure external communications align with legal requirements.Collaborate with the world's leading external lawyers in the field to address complex legal challenges and explore innovative opportunities.Together with the team, conduct knowledge-sharing initiatives and foster a culture of legal awareness across the company.
Your skills & experience:
A Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M).At least 5 years of experience as in-house counsel or at a law firm, with a strong preference for experience in the tech sector or related industries.A passion for technology, innovation, and IT environment.A proactive mindset with the ability to make informed decisions in a dynamic and fast-evolving regulatory landscape.The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, with proficiency in Lithuanian.Experience managing multiple complex projects, coupled with a strong sense of ownership over tasks.At least a basic understanding of the U.S. legal system is a plus.Eagerness to learn and innovate, fueled by curiosity and a proactive approach to exploring new ideas, acquiring knowledge, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Salary:
Gross salary: 4000 - 6000 EUR/month.
