We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join one of our Product Engineering teams in the Trust and Safety domain - specifically, the team behind our internal moderation platform - essential for supporting our operations team - is looking for a motivated and driven Engineering Manager to elevate the platform to the next level
As the Engineering Manager, you’ll take ownership of core Engineering Manager responsibilities such as delivery management, people development, and driving technical excellence. Together with the team, you’ll shape the future of the moderation platform, making it more scalable, user centric and impactful.

In this position, you’ll
In this role, you’ll be responsible not only for executing the technology strategy but also for safeguarding Vinted against key threats and bad actors - those constantly seeking vulnerabilities to exploit. Your success will hinge on your ability to drive impact across three core dimensions:
- Own team delivery and key results – help your team focus on the right outcomes and consistently deliver against goals that protect Vinted’s platform
- Lead the team that owns the platform – guide technical decision-making and execution to enable our moderators to work fast and efficiently
- Establish and evolve effective team processes – set up clear, sustainable ways of working that help the team stay focused and productive, and regularly review and refine them for continuous improvement
- Drive the implementation of the technical strategy – align your team’s work with broader Trust domain goals, ensuring solutions are scalable, effective, and privacy-conscious
- Invest in your people – support the personal and professional growth of team members through regular feedback, mentoring, performance reviews, and compensation processes
- Foster collaboration – work closely with other Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Analysts, and Data Scientists to continuously improve detection capabilities and system robustness
- Champion effective ways of working – apply Agile and Lean principles to ensure the team operates efficiently and adapts well to change
- Build a strong, resilient team culture – create an environment of psychological safety, trust, and accountability where healthy debate leads to better decisions and results

The salary range for this position is €6,258 - €8,475 gross per month.
